Is there such thing as an exclusively air on the DVR that is not affiliated with dish, Tivo or Direct TV?
I have an HDTV, but will not pay satellite or cable service, I see all my shows over the air (digital). However, like most people, I work, and so I need some way to record all the shows I want to see, but can not find a DVR that are not associated with an enterprise as a satellite or TiVo (it charges for its program guide is broadcast OTA anyway). Are there any made specifically for DVRs on the air channels?
Any PC with a tuner digital TV and Vista can be used as a PVR. Media Center provides a nice TV guide and PVR-like functionality. No monthly fees.
