I have a Panasonic Digital camera DMC-FZ8. I had recently taken over 350 pictures (.jpg extension) and a few videos (.mov extension)using the above camera on a 2GB SD Card. As I had more pictures to be taken, I had transferred the files on the SD card to a USB stick using a RadioShack Card Reader. The computer that i used has Windows XP as the OS.
Now I am unable to read the files that I have transferred on any computer. I have tried using ACDSee, Paint, Windows imaging etc…. but always the message comes up as “File format not supported” for the pictures and videos.
Can anyone help me please?
Go through your windows file system… go to “My computer” and to your USB stick, and move the photos to a file on your computer, and go from there. Likely it is some anomoly with the USB stick..
