How do you Calibrate an HDTV?
I am buying a new Vizio HDTV (the 120 frames per second one) and want to know if I will need to buy a calibration disc like some site have been saying or if it will be ok buy itself.
you don’t need anything.
calibration is just a term circuit city came up with to charge people to have their hdtv installed.
just take it home and use a hdmi cable to connect the tv to your tuner.
calibrating is nothing more then adjusting the brightness, contrast, and color. you don’t have to pay a bunch of high school drop outs with a firedog t-shirt to do those things for you.
