hdtv deals 1080p

Is this HDTV a good deal?
I want an HDTV for Black Friday. I want something that is 1080p so that means anything that is 40in. or bigger. I don’t want something super big but if it’s a good deal I’ll consider it. It this TV a good deal or should I try something else. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8794049&type=product&id=1205537712281
I know people say to wait and do your research but I’m probably getting a TV tomorrow. I don’t want to spend a lot of money but I want a quality 1080p that I can play my PS3 on.
I think that anything over 1200 is way two much for this sort of tv. For one thing, this same tv will be much cheaper in a year. Sam’s Club as a 1080p 42-inch tv for 799. I don’t think the difference between a 1200 and a 2200 tv that is 1080p will make much of a difference and after tax, it’s almost double the price. You could buy two tvs for the same price or buy one cheaper one and then replace it with a 60 inch tv in a few years. The price of these tvs is going to drop a lot over the next few years and also the weight is going to decrease. So, they’ll be bigger, lighter, and cheaper. If you do pay over 2k for a tv, don’t get the warranty. Instead, use a credit card that offers double warranty, which is most major cards, then you’ll get the one-year manu. warranty and the credit card company will double it. This will save you several hundred dollars. In two years, you’re 2,200 tv will be cost about 600, so by then the warranty won’t matter much anyway. Look up information on your credit card or you can call them to find out.
