Profitable convenience for digital printing 4 "x 6" on-camera shop vs Epson PictureMate?
Camera Shop a few steps away from me 18 cents on charges of 4'x6 'print from a JPEG file. Basically I want these photos to check the print appearance before making my own 8 x 10 s. Should I go that route or get the Epson PictureMate Express, which is basically an independent mini-lab prints only 4 "x6" but requires the purchase of new paper, ink, and maintenance. I want the minimum of inconvenience. Which of the two options is the most economical and efficient time?
If the 4×6 has the right color balance, then the same image printed as 8×10 match. Normally, the 8×10 will cost less than $ 2 per. If you print 4×6 in one printer, you may not match the laboratory.
